Blog Cleanup
A little clean up happened here. A bit of rearrangement in my blog rolls, added some more blogs which I have been subscribing through Bloglines. To segregate the technical blogs I had to append the Gen (for general) and Tech (for technical) blogs to the section titles. Those who find the rolls too short, my reply is I still wonder how people are able to keep up with so many blogs. Amongst other things: Zonkboard is gone (it served little purpose) and so was the Blogsnob code. The reason for the latter to go was the continuous display of X-rated blogs site adverstiments via their script (I wonder if they really keep an eye on the sites and blogs that are being added). For some free publcicity of my own blog I am not ready to advertise filthy websites here. Are blogsnob guys listening?
Thanks for figuring it out and nailing that problem, Debashish!
Rick
OK I got it and it seems that the naughty little “free” script from http://www.veroweb.com which used to show number of online visitors to my blog was stealthily loading those pop-unders. I have now removed that script. Do tell me if you still find any. Things people would do in the name of free service..hmfff.
Which “pop-under ads for Disney World” are we talking about Rick? As far as I know I have not put any advt on my blog except for the reciprocatory links.
Nice blog, Debashish, but the pop-under ads for Disney World have to go. We are not open to having JRoller users put 3rd-party commercial ads of any sort on our system. Please remove them asap. Thanks!
