My Japanese Name

Zulfikar pointed me to a link where you can find one's corresponding Japanese Name. Mine came as Debashishichikurabaruchi. Quite a tongue-twister!

Debashish, I actually found Japanese to be not a tongue twister at all. It is so much close to Hindi actually in how you speak it.

Try to memorize your name using the Japanese alphabet and it will sound like this:
de-ba-shi-shi cha-ku-ra-ba-ru-chi

All these sounds exist in Hindi and if you pronounce exactly as I wrote the Japanese will say “nihongo wa ojozu desune.” Now I am not going to say what it means — maybe you want to find out. It is something nice, though.
