Thanks Debashish for bringing back those precious memories back. One of my colleagues at the office posted it on his orkut profile n then it was the hottest pick of the day. Then I was seaching for the Krishna-Draupadi animation, “Bas ek ann ka ye daana..” and found your blog Null Pointer. Got to know the real source. Thanks a lot. I read other guy’s comments and was glad to know that people across the nation share the same feelings. I still used to sing the song. It was so nice to hear it after so many years. Nothing can beat those innocent memories.

Thanks for sharing information about Vasant Desai and Bhimsen. They really did a great job during those days when we as kids had limited access to animations and used to wait for these animations on documentries of “Film Division”.

Are you talking about the series Honi-anhoni , the serial on superstitions. I dont know the artists mentioned by you but I can recall this serial we used to watch fondly.

Nice post! I must read your more recent posts too.

Luckily for us, the websites that have copied our content have been “wannabe company” websites, so they respond to warnings etc. The ones you are referring to are bigger, so there is much more red tape. Your post was written in 2007. What is the status right now?

We have no intention of copying anyone’s content. Please note that we have one frame for oneindia and another frame for the Indian blog.

In our frame you can click on “x” and the entire framing thing is gone.

We are only trying to promote Indian blogs and nothing else. Infact I don’t even see a banner in our frame. We are not monetizing in anyway from having our frame.

That was dumb on part of BlogAdda marketing strategy. If blogopshere hates anything, its the SPAM. They are neither going to get any search engine rankings nor the trust from fellow bloggers.

One of the biggest challenge we faced at Instablogs (we have still not found the solution) is to unite multiple languages. Regional blogging can gain more momentum only if local languages are involved, but this on other hand restricts a major population who don`t understand the language.

I feel blogadda might be falling into the same trap. The best suggestion is to keep regional domains separate from main domain.

Blogadda is not equipped properly. To operate a service of their capability, they need a bigger team of junk remover than editors and marketers. As you rightly pointed out, blogs writing on spam and porn don`t leave a chance to spread their wings on any weak platform. Even Google’s Blogsearch failed due to exact reason.

Not spitting on the road is only one part of Singapore education and it is the easy part of cleanliness. There is more to cleanliness, being spotlessly “clean” in your intentions and transactions. This is not an area of strength for Indians. Otherwise Singapore Indian expat parents would not be complaining.
